About
Russell Kabir is a recent graduate in Zoology (BS) and Asian Studies (BA), cum laude, with a minor in Medical Humanities from the University of Oklahoma. He has been published in OU's Windmill (2008), OU Medical School's Blood and Thunder: Musings on the Art of Medicine (2008) and (2009), and The Honors Undergraduate Research Journal (2010). He hopes to pursue a doctorate, and served as a research assistant under Dr. John Mulvihill at the OU Children’s Hospital, Section of Pediatrics-Genetics. Russell speaks Japanese, and studied abroad with Harvard Summer School at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. He is also singer-songwriter of local fame, published on such media websites as iTunes and Amazon, and works as an ESL Instructor at OU’s Center for English as a Second Language.
